About that Clones Lace Workshop

There's my Addi Swing hook and my progress on the project for the class (see the off white rose motif?  That's my handiwork...

The snapshots in orange are close ups of sections
of a blouse by designer Olgemini Olga Krivenko, which Maire brought along to the class. Pretty much what Olgemini does is EXPLODE Irish lace... the ultimate in freeform.

All in all, the workshop was well worth the fee (for me, at least!) and worth the effort to come into NYC and spend the day with a dear friend, and to learn more on this fascinating technique. For more details of this art form as well as future workshops, please check out Maire Treanor's blog.
