A Teaser of Things to Come

I know I still haven't managed to do a photo dump of fiber related photos from my trip abroad the end of May. Too much personal stuff going on at the moment for me to collect all my thoughts and photos etc. So a photo dump shall be forthcoming. Soon, I hope!

In the meantime, here is a progress photo of the socks I started making yesterday. I hope to wear these on the day of my surgery & procedure next month. 

It's a permutation of Shirley's Socks. I've apparently got the stitch pattern repeat committed to memory. Yarn? I don't recall. Perhaps Opal. Nothing special. 

This is a "between projects" type of project.
