Labor Day 2010: Photo Dump 1

Of course, I packed in a hurry, and neglected

to pack a travel project!

Luckily I memorized where Mystic River Yarns is,

and I made a purchase of some Rowan wool/cotton

and a square handled crochet hook by Kollage!

Surprise surprise. Yet another entrelac bag!

I'm now working the remainder of the yarn
into a "round the world" entrelac, square
panel. Let's see how big it gets!
The colors lend themselves well
for a possible baby blanket.
Who knows what it ultimately
wants to be!

Labor Day 2010: Things The Inspired Me

We were in Mystic CT this weekend, and unbeknownst to me, every Labor Day weekend, at Olde Mystick Village, there is a "Meet the Artisans" art fair! Here are a few photos I took this weekend!

This painting (I forget who the artist is--possibly Smadar Livne?), reminds me of

Barcelona, and makes me wish I were there right now.
