More Motifs For My Collection

A close-up of the motifs which were appliqued on the slippers (in previous post) which will be a holiday gift for my aunt.

I just kept going the other night, making motif after motif, just to work off the remaining scraps of yarn in those colorways.

Going to toss them in my bag of granny squares and other unrelated motifs to be used at a later date. I love doing this. Once I have a bunch of stuff in the bag, if I need to throw together a last minute gift, I just grab a few items and stitch them together to form a hat or a bag.

Imagine if I had enough of these motifs to work together to form a great scarf. The possibilities are endless.

More Motifs

Here is my first attempt at an Oya styled rose motif,
done freehand, no pattern.
This is the second prototype.
The third prototype I believe will be the clincher for this motif.

The same motif as worked yesterday; however
this is done in #10 crochet thread.
Will finish six more motifs to finish it as a bookmark.
