I've been doing a bit of research into primitive rug hooking, and will soon purchase a "dodger" or "bodger," or whatever they are called, soon. I have a good measure of what I believe to be "monk's cloth" at home, and plenty of cotton fabric to slice into strips to get started.
I found this picture on a site, doesn't matter where, really, does it? I mean, I slapped it up here as an inspiration piece. I like the interplay of colors, and even think, once I finally finish up one of the afghans I'm working on, I'll do up a "Log Cabin Granny," and hopefully do up a companion hooked rug for it.
Kinda makes me think of a God's Eye.
